Seit nun schon fast drei Wochen sind Christina und ich zusammen zu zweit in der Glimpse-Werkstatt hier in Mumbai.
Es ist unglaublich, wie schnell die Zeit in all dem bunten Treiben des indischen Lebens verfliegt!
Wir freuen uns sehr an unserer schönen eigenen Wohnung direkt neben unserer Arbeit. Hier in Borivali fühlt es sich eigentlich gar nicht so an, als sei man in Mumbai- eher wie in einem kleineren Vorort, was sehr angenehm ist.
Since around three weeks Christina an me are in the Glimpse unit in Mumbai. It´s crazy how fast the time is going by.
We´re really glad about our beautiful flat we have, right next to the unit.
In Borivali it doesn´t feel like being in such a big town like Mumbai- more then being in a small, lovely suburb.
Die meiste Zeit verbringen wir natürlich in der Werkstatt, in der die Produktion der neuen Kollektion langsam anläuft.
Zurzeit werden wunderbare Taschen und T-Shirts für Kinder genäht, bevor es in wenigen Tagen mit der Winterkollektion für Glimpse losgeht.
Letzte Woche sind schon einige Stoffe eingetroffen und wir beide hatten nun schon mehrmals das Vergnügen, auf dem Crawford market in Mumbai City nach Knöpfen, Reißverschlüssen und Garnen Ausschau zu halten. Auf diesem Markt zu sein, ist ein unbeschreibliches Erlebnis, dem kein Bild und keine Beschreibung gerecht werden kann.
Most of our time we work in the unit, where the production of the new collection starts slowly right now.
Right now beautiful bags are being sewn by the trainees and Kids-T-Shirts by the workers, before we start the production of the autumn/winter collection for glimpse.
Last week we got some of the fabrics and Christina an me had the task to buy some accessories like buttons, zippers and threads at the crawford market in Mumbai City.
To be on the market is an awesome experience, which can not be shown in a picture or any description.
